Teaching guitar and/or bass guitar to children and adults from Montgomery, Prattville, Wetumpka, Millbrook, Clanton, Verbena, Marbury and Holtville areas..beginner and advanced lessons offered. Lessons taught at the Art Factory in Pine Level, The Guitar Lab in Wetumpka and during school hours at East Memorial Christian Academy in Prattville Alabama.

Hello, My name is Ben Hughes... I am a musician of almost 40 years...in which I've played many styles of music. I currently play bass guitar in my home church (Boones Chapel in Prattville) along with our talented pianist, Sally Hester. I also play lead guitar for private parties and restaurant gigs in the surrounding areas with my musician friend, Pat Pendergast. I teach weekly guitar and bass lessons at the Art Factory (in the Pine Level area) Tuesday-Friday and at the Guitar Lab (in Wetumpka) on Mondays. I cater lessons to each students skill level with consideration of their musical interest and style preference. I try to instill in my students that practice is essential to a good progression speed. I've always loved playing music, and now that I'm gett'n older :), I'm enjoying watching others grow in their knowledge and love for it.
New students are scheduled in vacant slots upon availability.
Monthly tuition is *$60 and is due on the first lesson of the month. I charge a one time sign up fee of $20.
* Wetumpka lessons are $75 monthly
If possible, please notify me in advance if you will not make your lesson.
