Ben and I are happily married and have 3 wonderful children: Jonathon (20) plays guitar & bass, Trey (17) plays drums & guitar and Maddie (11) plays piano & guitar, sings and creates beautiful artwork too.
We are members at Boones Chapel Church and aim to serve God by sharing what He has blessed us with.

Hello, I'm Lauren and I specializes in the area of visual arts..both creating and teaching. I'm a self taught artist and muralist of over 20 years during which I've painted many wall murals and canvas artworks for surrounding schools, businesses and homes. I now teach after school art lessons in my home studio (the Art Factory) weekly in order to encourage and inspire future artists.
I have experience in pencil, pastel, clay, paper mache', mosaic tile, all types of paints, inks, dyes and such. (And anything else I can get my hands on...)
I also teach art to K4-12th grades at East Memorial Christian Academy and love it... This is my 4th year with EMCA as Art Teacher.
My husband, Ben is an accomplished musician that now enjoys teaching others to play music... He began playing guitar at a young age and fell in love with it. He's a self taught pianist and sings as well. At present he teaches weekly guitar and bass guitar lessons at the Art Factory and at The Guitar Lab in Wetumpka on Mondays. Ben was a member of the Soundsman quartet for over 8 years during which he sang bass and played lead guitar.
Ben is currently playing bass guitar at Boones Chapel Church and lead guitar with his friend, Pat, for local restaurants and private parties.
Young people from all over are welcomed at the the Art Factory...we have students from many surrounding schools... Wetumpka, Millbrook, Marbury, Clanton, Pine Level, Prattville, Holtville, Stanhope, Autauga & Elmore Homeschools, Airport Road Intermediate, Coosada Elementary, East Memorial Christian Academy, Prattville Christian Academy,Victory and more gather there! Wonderful friendships are being created ...at the "Factory"!
