The Art Factory exists so that all ages may create, learn, explore and laugh together within it. It's goal is to open up new worlds and inspire budding artists and musicians..It is located in the Deatsville/Pine Level area convenient to Prattville, Millbrook, Marbury, Billingsley, Holtville, Clanton, Verbena and even Wetumpka & Montgomery, Alabama.

Hello, my name is Lauren Hughes and I have the honor of teaching budding artists at the "Art Factory". I'm a self taught artist/muralist that has quite a bit of experience with a wide variety of art forms and mediums (from YEARS of experimenting :).
Several years ago I discovered just how much I enjoy teaching art when I became the art teacher for EMCA in Prattville... since then, I have been blessed with the Art Factory...a wonderful home studio in which I can now offer after school art classes to student in a fun-filled work space...a space to relax, make friendships and feel free to create, all while learning and discovering much more about art and each other... I encourage students to strive for success in all that they do..and never say "I can't". ..I want each student to gain confidence in themselves...and realize their potential.

My husband, Ben, teaches guitar and bass guitar weekly at the Art Factory location to children and adults. He teaches once a week at The Guitar Lab in Wetumpka and at East Memorial Christian Academy too.
Ben is an accomplished musician, he plays bass at our home church and lead guitar when he plays private parties and restaurant gigs with his friend, Pat. He loves music and enjoys watching others grow in their love for it. Ben strives to cater each lesson to his students skill level and music style preference in order to keep his students excited and motivated about learning to play.

Take Hwy. 31 north over I-65 and go to the light/intersection in front of the Pinelevel BP station. Take a right onto County Road 40 and go 2-3 miles. Take the 2nd paved road to the LEFT.(this will be county road 85 to the left not Airport Road) Go 1 mile and see 3 black mailboxes on the left. 2629 County Road 85... Turn into the drive and stay to the left.
Directions from Montgomery:
Take I-65 North and exit on the 3rd Prattville exit (exit 186) Turn right onto Hwy. 31 north and go to the light/intersection in front of the Pinelevel BP station. Take Hwy. 111 south 6-7 miles until it dead ends into Hwy. 143. Take a left onto 143 and go approx. 1/4 mile. Take the 1st paved road to the right (County Road 85) go to the top of the hill and see 3 black mailboxes on the right. Turn into our drive and stay to the left...2629 county road 85.
Directions from Millbrook:
Take I-65 north and get off at 186 exit. Take Old Deand turns into 40. Take a left and go 2-3 miles...look for a brown Church of Christ on theatsville Hwy. (beside Hardees) north until it comes to a 4-way stop on County Road 7 and take a left (it will soon turn into co. rd. 40). Go approx. 2-3 miles and you will see a brown brick Stoney Point Church of Christ on your left...Take an immediate right onto County Road 85. Go one mile and see 3 black mailboxes on the left. 2629 County Road 85. (If you go down a hill you've gone to far).Turn into drive and stay to the left.
Directions from Clanton:
Take Hwy. 31 South then take left on Hwy. 143 (before Marbury) and go approx. 8 miles (past Marbury) then take right onto County Road 85 and go to the top of the hill. When you see 3 black mailboxes on the right, turn into our drive at...2629 county road 85. Stay to the left.
